The sheer size and diversity of Brazil is astounding. After exploring lively Rio
de Janeiro with its magnificent setting, famous beaches and colourful nightlife
we travel to stunning Iguazu Falls on the border with Argentina. There we will
witness what is considered one of the world’s most spectacular phenomenon’s:
the Iguaçu River creating up to 300 waterfalls as it pours its waters down.
It serves as home to one of the richest fauna habitats in the continent, with
hundreds of species of birds.

At the jungle lodge in the Amazon we will experience life amidst the largest
forest in the world. Boat tours to the “Meeting of the Waters”, alligator spotting,
canoeing through the igarapés and the river dolphins bringing a true feeling of
the abundance of life in the region. 

Finally we fly to Salvador and spend the last days discovering this magnificent
colonial city and soaking up the warm tropical sun on stunning Atlantic beaches.
The magical island of Morro de Sao Paulo, a tropical paradise lush with ferns,
palms and exotic birds, which has good walking and horseback trails and where
you can see dolphins jumping through the waves from the ruins of a colonial
fort at sunset.
