Fernando de Noronha / Morro de São Paulo / Praia do Forte
More and more divers and lovers of other aquatic sports are traveling to Brazil to enjoy its 8000km of coast, tropical climate and rich marine fauna and flora. Brazil offers fantastic options of diving tours, for beginners or to most experienced divers. Volcanic islands, long coral reefs, marine national parks, sub aquatic caves...but the best diving destination is without hesitations the archipelago of Fernando de Noronha. FERNANDO DE NORONHA With crystalline waters and an exuberance of corals, dolphins, lobsters and colorful tropical fish, as well as wonderfully preserved beaches and virtually no pollution, Fernando de Noronha is a paradise for divers, surfers and all nature lovers. This beautiful and peaceful island is part of a volcanic archipe- lago of 21 islands which lie 345km off the northeast coast of Brazil. Fernando de Noronha has some of the best diving in the world with visibility up to 60 meters/200 ft. The options vary for beginners to the advanced divers. Snorkelling is another excellent alternative. To preserve the unspoiled environment, only 420 tourists are allowed on the island at any one time, guaranteeing empty beaches and tranquility for the visitor at all times, as well as the opportunity to commune with nature. Apart from the thousands of migratory birds that stop off at the island on their way south, the waters surrounding the island are filled with hundreds of playful dolphins, turtles, multi-colored fish, corals, sponges and other marine plants. Pelagic fishes such as sharks, tuna, jack, albacore and barracuda, benthic fishes such as gigantic jewfishes, groupers and snappers. Spinner Dolphins (Stenella Longirostris) frolic near the bow of the boats cruising the diving sites; hundreds of them gather all over the year in their home bay – Dolphin´s Bay. Minimum stay: 3 days. Closest international airport: Recife / Natal / Fortaleza Closest national airport: Fernando de Nornoha BONITO (Pantanal) The natural beauties in Bonito include caverns with deep azure lakes inside, incredibly clear rivers that work as natural aquariums, waterfalls and much more.
