If you enjoy hiking at scenic places, rivers and waterfalls, blue lagoons, dunes and rainforests, prisitine beaches, this will be the trip of a lifetime! After exploring lively Rio de Janeiro with its magnificent setting, famous beaches and colourful nightlife we travel to Ilha Grande, considered an adventurers’ paradise, with mountaineous atlantic rainforest, waterfalls, historic ruins and beautiful beaches. It is a sensational location for trekking, diving, surfing and relaxing. In stunning Iguazu Falls, on the border with Argentina,we will witness what is considered one of the world’s most spectacular phenomenon’s: the Iguaçu River creating up to 300 waterfalls as it pours its waters down. It serves as home to one of the richest fauna habitats in the continent, with hundreds of species of birds. Declared by UNESCO as a World Biosphere Reserve and a Natural Patrimony of Mankind, the Pantanal is the Planet’s largest flooded lowland, and the World’s third biggest environmental reserve. It is of great ecological interest because it is home to one of the richest ecosystems ever found, with periodically flooded seasonal woods. It displays the largest concentration of neo-tropical fauna, including several endangered species – mammals, reptiles and fish – and it also serves as habitat for an enormous variety of native birds, as well as those migrating from other areas in the Americas. Vibrant and colourful Salvador, located in a landscape of green tropical hills and endless beaches in the “Bahía de Todos los Santos”, presents some of the most beautiful and well- preserved buildings of Brazilian 18th century architecture and is also considered the cultural capital of Brazil. We continue our journey at the magnificent canyons and waterfalls of the Bahian Chapada Diamantina National Park, exploring the best trekking spot in Brazil; through swamps, valleys and mountains as well as spectacular waterfalls, rivers and caves. Finish your holiday relaxing in the amazing island of Fernando de Noronha. With crystalline waters and an exuberance of stunning tropical marine life, as well as wonderfully preserved beaches and virtually no pollution, as a limited amount of tourists is allowed per day, the Marine Park of Noronha is a paradise for divers, surfers, nature lovers, and anyone wanting to escape to a tropical island. - We choose the most comfortable and stylish accomodations: charming colonial pousadas, cozy beach lodges on the very edge of the shore, boutique hotels.
