Salvador de Bahía 3d- isla Morro de Sao Paulo 3d- isla de Boipeba 2d- península de Maraú 3d- Itacaré 4d- Salvador de Bahia Bahía is a dreamy amalgam of virgin beaches, jungle, colonial architecture, delicious local cuisine and of the hapiness and kindness of its people and its mesmerizing Afro Brazilian culture. Vibrant and colourful Salvador, capital of Bahia, situated in a landscape of green tropical hills and endless beaches in the “Bahía de Todos los Santos” presents some of the most beautiful and well-preserved buildings of Brazilian 18th century architecture and is also considered the cultural capital of Brazil, being an explosion of colors, rhythms and fun. The Tinharé archipelago, a tropical paradise lush with ferns, palms and exotic birds, which has good walking and horseback trails, is the coral reef home of rich marine fauna and flora, and has stunning mangroves and river labyrinths as well. The main island, Morro de Sao Paulo is renowned for its scubadiving and vibrant nightlife. In the south you will find the smaller and wilder island of Boipeba where visitors seeking tranquillity can circle the island walking its silver sands and swimming, horseriding or explore the coral reefs. No motorized vehicles are allowed on the islands. The Maraú peninsula, between the unexplored Bay of Camamú and the Atlantic Ocean, boasts a wide variety of landscapes of rare beauty: endless beaches lined with palm trees, lagoons and swimming pools of crystal clear water in the coral reef. The Camamú Bay hosts some unspoilt islands and handcrafted shipbuilders. Tropical paradise on the Cacao coast with its innumerable places of natural beauty and cultures. Itacareis pure life, a refuge for lovers of beach and sea, nature, surfing, capoeira, good cuisine and authentic Bahian culture. Deserted sands, paths winding through the jungle past waterfalls and through cocoa and coconut plantations, boating on the rivers and the see. One of the greatest sufspots, both for beginners and advanced, it offers a wide range of beaches with great conditions. The region of Itacaré is also covered by the Atlantic Rainforest, the most diverse on Earth with more than 25,000 species of tropical fauna and flora, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and one of the worlds two largest priorities of conservation because of its remaining 7% from the original extension. Some stunning reserves can be visited in the area, that holds the world record of tree variety. - We choose the most comfortable and stylish accomodations: charming colonial pousadas, cozy beach lodges on the very edge of the shore, boutique hotels.
